{"id":818,"date":"2022-11-22T14:34:36","date_gmt":"2022-11-22T22:34:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/harrison-lab.sdsu.edu\/?p=818"},"modified":"2022-11-22T14:40:35","modified_gmt":"2022-11-22T22:40:35","slug":"new-publication","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/harrison-lab.sdsu.edu\/index.php\/2022\/11\/22\/new-publication\/","title":{"rendered":"New Publication!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are happy to announce that our work on using deep eutectic solvents has now been published in Analytical Chemistry: <a href=\"https:\/\/pubs.acs.org\/doi\/10.1021\/acs.analchem.2c03980\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/pubs.acs.org\/doi\/10.1021\/acs.analchem.2c03980<\/a>  This work was done by Jessica Torres, a doctoral student in the lab, along with Karen Campos and undergraduate student currently in the lab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pubs.acs.org\/cms\/10.1021\/acs.analchem.2c03980\/asset\/images\/medium\/ac2c03980_0006.gif\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pubs.acs.org\/cms\/10.1021\/acs.analchem.2c03980\/asset\/images\/medium\/ac2c03980_0006.gif\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fluorescently labelling amino acids in DES<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This work explores how one can do fluorescent labelling in deep eutectic solvents (DES).  Our goal for this work is to apply DES to the analysis of amino acids in the search for evidence of past extraterrestrial life.
